Private Boarding

My experience working with dogs began at Taurus Academy in Austin TX where I learned general care & medication administration, creating & supervising daycare groups, behavior & training, and client services.

In 2013 I opened a dog running and pet sitting business based in behavioral care to reach animals who did not do well in daycare and kennel environments. I am excited to now offer private boarding at my place in Fischer. It is my joy to bring comfort and give personal attention to your pets based on their style and your wishes.

The Cottage is a brand new 400 sq ft casita that sits steps behind our home. There are two indoor 5 x 5 x 6 kennels each with outdoor access. I can accommodate one to two family sets of pets at a time. Ask about reserving the Cottage for your pet(s) only.

If suited, your pups(s) can hang out with me in the Cottage living space out of their kennel. I offer snuggling and hanging out on the couch, playing outside, toys, doggie pools, and 100% love. I spend as much time as possible with them throughout the day and can leave well-behaved dogs out of kennel even when I step away. Most dogs will need to be comfortable sleeping in a kennel at night and for nap time. However, if this is a concern, I do have other options for sleeping arrangements.

I monitor the Cottage on video when I have to step away and during the night. Please note access to the Cottage is via steps and the doggie doors have either steps or a ramp to access the yard. I can help pups navigate these if needed. Contact me with questions and to inquire about cats.

The Cottage works well for:

- well-mannered indoor pets

- families of multiple pets

- those that prefer not to be around other dogs or do not do well in busy boarding facilities

Schedule an initial visit before first service. Come check out the Cottage, tell me about your pets and we can discuss details. If it's not the right fit for either of us, I can offer recommendations.

Policies

- All dogs must be current on DHLPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. Please have your pets veterinarian send vax records to the email below.

- Every dog absolutely must be current on flea & tick preventative. NO FLEAS ALLOWED!

- Dogs must be spayed/neutered.

- Please bring the food your pups are accustomed to eating to prevent upset tummies. 

- Feel free to bring beds, blankets, and toys. I can also provide these. No rawhides, real bones, or any chews that can be a choking or digestive hazard. 

-I am happy to keep pups with some challenges, however I cannot accept aggressive dogs as my kennels are not set up for 'non-entry'.  I will need to be able to enter the kennel with them safely.

Also, I cannot accept dogs with destructive behaviors. Contact me to discuss your dog's behavior if you are uncertain - there are a few work arounds.

- Please contact me via form below, text, email, or phone to schedule appointments and make changes.

- 50% is due to reserve service, the remainder at pick up or drop off, whichever you prefer. 

- If you need to cancel or reschedule service, please let me know as soon as possible. Your deposit is refundable up to 48 hours before start of scheduled service.

- Signed consent for service/waiver is required. Please submit a pet information form as well.
