About Me & The Cottage
My Experience working with dogs began at Taurus Academy in Austin, TX where I learned general care and medication administration, creating and supervising playgroups, behavior and training, and client services.
In 2013 I opened a pet care business based in behavioral care for pets that did not do well boarding. I am happy to now offer private boarding with loving, attentive care here at my place in Fischer. I offer comfort, attention, snuggling and hanging out on the couch, walks and playtime, and 100% love. Your pets stay is customized to meet their needs and your wishes.
The Cottage is a 400 sq ft casita just steps behind our home. There are two 5x5x6 kennels each with outdoor access via a ramp and steps. I can help pups navigate these and the dog doors as needed.
I spend as much time as possible with the pups throughout the day and evening and leave well behaved pets out of kennel in the Cottage even when I step away. I monitor the Cottage on camera when I am away and during the night. Most pets will need to be comfortable sleeping in a kennel. If this is a concern, I have other options for sleeping arrangements.
The Cottage works well for:
- Dogs that are well behaved indoors
- Families of multiple dogs
- Those accustomed to being with people all day
- Those that do not do well boarding, prefer to be alone or need quiet & calm
I am currently accepting one family pet or set of pets at a time. Occasionally there will be an overlap of a day or night, otherwise your pet(s) will be the only guests.

Policies
All dogs must be current on DHLPP, Bordetella, Rabies AND flea and tick preventative.
NO FLEAS ALLOWED!
Dogs must be spayed/neutered.
Please bring the food your pups are accustomed to eating to prevent upset tummies.
Feel free to bring beds, blankets, and toys. I can also provide these. No rawhides, real bones, or any chews that can be a choking or digestive hazard.
I am happy to keep pups with some challenges, however I cannot accept those with destructive behaviors.
50% is due to reserve service, the remainder at pick up or drop off, whichever you prefer. I accept cash, check, and credit card.
If you need to cancel or reschedule service, please let me know as soon as possible. Your deposit is refundable up to 48 hours before start of scheduled service. My work to prepare the property for your pups stay begins well before you arrive so this covers my time.
One signed consent for service/waiver is required. Please submit a pet information form as well for each pet.
